5 people died in Chhattisgarh
Raipur. A high speed Metador has hit four people in Raipur. These people were eating chaat at a roadside stall. After this incident, the people present nearby caught the accused Metador driver and beat him up and handed him over to the police. This entire incident is of Bharat Mata Chowk in Gudhiyari police station area. Apart from this, 5 people died in different road accidents in the state on Wednesday night.
A bike rider died after being hit by a car in Aheri village of Nandini police station area of Durg district. On Thursday morning, 2 youths were crushed by an unknown vehicle in Raigarh. A one and a half month old child in Dhamtari and a scooter rider in Bhilai lost their lives in a road accident. 2 youths have died in a road accident in Raigarh. On Thursday morning, the youth were returning home by bike. Then the driver of an unknown vehicle hit the bike riders. The incident is of Jute Mill police station area. A bike rider died in a road accident on Wednesday night in Aheri village of Nandini police station area of Durg district. The police have sent the body for postmortem and seized the bike and the car that caused the accident. According to the information received from Nandini police, the incident took place at 8 pm.
A one and a half month old child died in a road accident in Dhamtari. On Wednesday, the family was returning by motorcycle after getting the child treated, when an unknown truck hit them, the child came under the truck’s tyre, and his body was mutilated. The parents and grandmother had reached a private hospital in Dhamtari for treatment from village Semra B, while returning from there, the accident took place near Kurmatarai. The parents and grandmother have been injured in the incident and the truck driver has fled from the spot. A scooty rider died on the spot in a road accident near Telha Nala of Khursipar police station area in Bhilai. A car driver hit the scooty, due to which it came under the truck passing by. The wheel of the truck passed over the head of the scooty rider. Despite wearing a helmet, his head was crushed and he died.
