Sundarraj P., Inspector General of Police, Bastar Range Jagdalpur (Chhattisgarh), Kamlochan Kashyap, Deputy Inspector General of Police Range Dantewada, Arvind Rai, Deputy Inspector General (Rang.) of CRPF Range Sukma and Kiran Chavan, in Sukma district Sukma. Naxal eradication campaign is being conducted under the direction of Superintendent of Police Sukma, Vijay Pratap, Commandant 201 Cobra Vahini and the supervision of Dinesh Kumar Singh Dev, Second Commanding Officer 201 Cobra Vahini, Nikhil Ashok Kumar Rakhecha, Additional Superintendent of Police Naxal Ops Sukma, in the same sequence. On 11.04.2024, on the intelligence of the presence of Naxalites in Jagargunda, Inspector Surendra Yadav from Jagargunda police station, incharge of Jagargunda district force and from Camp Tekalguda, Lakhbir, Deputy Commandant, Vishwanath Assistant Commandant, Alok, along with Assistant Commandant of 201 Cobra Vahini force. The joint party Naxal patrol had gone to village Tekalguda and Purvi for searching. During the operation, near the forest road between village Tekalguda and Purvi, some suspicious persons wearing plain clothes started running away after seeing the police party coming towards them. They were surrounded and 05 suspicious persons were arrested.
On interrogating the arrested suspects, their respective statements were: 1. Madvi Hunga father Madvi Kosa (Jan Militia Section Commander) age 34 years caste Muria 2. Madvi Masa father Madvi Joga (Jan Militia member) age 24 years caste Muria, 3. Madkam Hunga Father Madakam Rama (people’s militia member) age 23 years caste Muria, 4. Nuppo Ramu father Nuppo Ayatu (people’s militia member) age 26 years caste Muria Sakinan Tekalguda police station Jagargunda district Sukma and 5. Madvi Bhima father Madavi Nanda (people’s militia member) Age: 21 years, caste: Muria Sakin, Jonaguda police station, Jagargunda district, Sukma and working on the above posts in the above mentioned Naxal organization. On being brought to the police station after being told that he was working in the Naxal organization, after checking the Naxal records, he was found to be involved along with other Naxalites in the incident of firing on the security forces during the construction of Tekalguda camp. In relation to the incident, crime number 05 was registered in Jagargunda police station. 2024 Section 147, 148, 149, 307, 34 IPC. 25, 27 The case has been registered under the Arms Act. Taking advance legal action in the said case, all the Naxalite accused were duly arrested today on 12.04.2024, presented before the Honorable Court and sent to jail on judicial remand.
