Dantewada. The soldiers who came out on information about the movement of Maoists have arrested five Maoists including a female Naxalite. A reward of Rs 1 lakh was announced on one of these. The naxalites who were caught were working as CNM and militia members in Rewali Panchayat and Burgum Panchayat under Manlager Area Committee. In fact, under the Naxal eradication campaign, on May 14, the police had received intelligence about the movement of Maoists of Malanger Area Committee in Aranpur area. While taking action in Aranpur Sameli Marg, a joint party of DRG Dantewada, Police Station Aranpur and CRPF 111th Corps Young Platoon arrested 5 suspicious persons including 1 woman.
On interrogating the arrested suspects, their names were revealed respectively 1. Mangali Markam alias Mangdi father late Polla Markam age about 25 years resident of Burgum Permapara police station Aranpur district Dantewada 2. Aaita Markam father Hunga Markam age about 33 years resident of Burgum Permapara police station Aranpur district Dantewada 3. Vijja Ram Nuppo father Madka age about 30 years resident of Rewali Bhimapara police station Aranpur district Dantewada 4. Joga Tati father Ganga Tati age about 20 years resident of Burgum Permapara police station Aranpur district Dantewada and 5. Deva Ram Nuppo father Hunga Nuppo age about 34 years resident Tell Rewali, Bhimapara police station, Aranpur district, Dantewada. FIR against them in Police Station Aranpur Section 147,148,149,364,294,323,506,302, 25 Arms Act, 4,5 IPC and 13,23,38(2),39(2) IPC Act 1967 and Section 14 7,148,149,307 Bhadvi,25, Since the crime was registered under 27 Arms Act, 4,5 IPC and 13(1), 38(2), 39(2) of the Vicarious Code Act 1967, he was duly arrested and sent on judicial remand. DRG Dantewada, Police Station Aranpur and 111th Corps CRPF Young Platoon had special contribution in the arrest of the above mentioned Maoists.
