Turkey. Five siblings died in a house fire in the western port city of Izmir. According to local media, the incident took place in the Selcuk district when the children’s mother went out of the house to collect junk to help the family. The woman had closed the door of the house.
According to the report, the fire broke out due to the electric stove overturning. According to news agency Xinhua, the bodies of five siblings aged one to five years were found in the same room. Selcuk Mayor Filiz Ceritoglu said on her social media account that the district governor and prosecutors were investigating the incident.
