4 gamblers arrested for gambling with Staiger on the side of the highway

Raigarh. After receiving information from informers regarding action on gambling, Jutmill Police and Cyber Cell staff have caught 04 gamblers gambling from roadside stands in village Jamtikra. Police station in-charge Jute Mill Inspector Mohan Bhardwaj had received information from an informer that some persons were gambling with Staiger Goti near Jamtikra, a public place on the National Highway Road in front of Vasu Restaurant. Jutmil police and cyber cell staff cordoned off the spot and arrested 4 gamblers – (1) Hari Chauhan, father late.

Deenbandhu Chauhan age 34 years Sakin Ward No. 29 near Kayaghat Hanuman Temple police station Jutmil (2) Anuj Bareth father Budeshwar Bareth age 23 years Sakin Jailpara police station near Gurughasidas Baba Chowk (3) Nitesh Chauhan father Naveen Chauhan age 26 years Sakin Hiranagar Mitthumuda Ward No. 35 Police Station Jutmil (4) Mahavir Chauhan Father Late. Praveen Kumar Chauhan, age 26, was arrested from Sakin Heera Nagar Durga Chowk Police Station Jutmil District Raigarh, from whose possession 03 pieces of Staiger Goti and cash amount of Rs 1360/- were seized. Gambling Act action has been taken against gamblers at Jutmil police station. Head constable Virendra Bhagat, constable Dharnujay Chand Behera, Vinay Tiwari, cyber cell constable Vikram Singh, Suresh Sidar were involved in the gambling raid.
