Raipur. In a program organized on October 23 at Chhattisgarh State Power Companies Headquarters, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai will provide appointment letters to 375 junior engineers selected for the three companies. He will also release awareness material of Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Free Electricity Scheme and distribute nameplates to be installed at the beneficiaries’ homes.
129 junior engineers of Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company, 229 of Distribution Company and 17 of Generation Company have been selected through competitive examination. Under the Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Free Electricity Scheme, the target is to install roof top power plants in 5 lakh houses in the state by the year 2027. To give impetus to this campaign, Chief Minister Sai is emphasizing on achieving the target by increasing public awareness. On this occasion, an exhibition is also being organized on power development in the state. Thus, the outline of this multi-dimensional event has been prepared. The program will be presided over by MP Brijmohan Agarwal.
