In the Jan Chaupal organized in the District Collectorate today, Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh listened to the demands and problems of the common people of the district seriously and directed the officials of the concerned department to resolve them as per rules. Today, 30 applicants from rural and urban areas submitted applications in Jan Darshan. The Collector heard the problems of all the applicants one by one and asked the concerned officials to ensure resolution of the applicants’ problems within the stipulated time limit. Today in the Jan Chaupal, the applicants submitted applications for caste certificate, map error correction, removal of encroachment and other problems and demands. Among them, Mr. Harendra Lal Miri and Rajkumari of village Chorbatti from Mahasamund Vikasand applied for providing forest land rights lease, Jyoti Bai of village Bhalesar applied for demarcation and Ghanshyam Sahu, Tribhuvan Dhiwar and farmers of village Barbaspur submitted applications for providing the amount for the ragi crop. The Collector directed the officials of the Agriculture Department and Seed Corporation to provide the amount soon.
Similarly, Sukhwanti Patel of village Kamaroud of Bagbahara development block applied for widow pension. The collector directed the district CEO to take necessary action. Residents of ward number 04 of Mahasamund, Mrs. Hemlata Rajput, Lata Devangan, Urmila Thakur etc. told that due to construction of new drain in front of Sharda temple, dirty water of the drain is seeping into the well of the house, due to which the water is neither drinkable nor suitable for disposal. In this regard, the collector has directed the municipal engineer to investigate and take necessary action.
