3 wanted Khalistani terrorists killed, this is how the encounter happened
Police Encounter in Pilibhit: Three Khalistani terrorists have been killed in a police encounter in Pilibhit, UP. Punjab and UP police have carried out this operation under a joint operation. All three terrorists are said to be members of the Khalistani Commando Force. Apart from two AK-47 guns and two Glock pistols, a large quantity of cartridges have been recovered from them. The killed terrorists have been identified as Gurvinder Singh, Ravi and Jaspreet. All three were accused of being involved in the grenade attack on the Gurdaspur police post in Punjab some time ago.
This news of the encounter from Pilibhit early on Monday morning is being considered a big success of UP and Punjab Police. According to the information received, this encounter took place in Puranpur area of Pilibhit. A team of Punjab Police had come to UP in search of the three terrorists. Punjab Police was conducting a search operation in collaboration with UP Police. Last night, the police got information about the hiding of the three terrorists. On this, the police surrounded them. The terrorists were warned and asked to surrender but they did not agree to this. After this, UP and Punjab police had an encounter with the Khalistani terrorists in which all three Khalistani terrorists were killed.
Talking to a TV channel about this, UP DGP Prashant Kumar said that this operation was led by Pilibhit SP Avinash Pandey. He said that UP Police had received inputs about Khalistani terrorists from Punjab Police. These three were involved in the attack on the police post in Gurdaspur, Punjab. He said that this is a big success of the joint operation conducted in coordination between the police of two states.
Detailed information about the Pilibhit encounter has been given in a press note issued by the UP Police. It was told that in an encounter between the joint team of UP and Punjab Police and three dreaded criminals who threw grenade bombs at a police post in Gurdaspur district of Punjab, two AK guns and two Glock pistols were recovered. This encounter took place in Puranpur police station area of Pilibhit. All three criminals were seriously injured in the firing. They were taken to the Community Health Center (CHC) of Puranpur for immediate treatment on priority basis.

- Gurvinder Singh son of Gurudev Singh, age about 25 years, resident of Mohalla Kalanaur, Police Station Kalanaur District Gurdaspur, Punjab
- Virendra Singh alias Ravi son of Ranjeet Singh alias Jeeta, age about 23 years, resident of village Agwan, Police Station Kalanaur District Gurdaspur, Punjab
- Jasan Preet Singh alias Pratap Singh, age about 18 years, resident of village Nikka Sur, Police Station Kalanaur District Gurdaspur, Punjab
