Raigarh. On the direction of Superintendent of Police Divyang Kumar Patel, arrest and action against suspicious persons is going on in all the police station areas to curb property related crimes. In the same sequence, three youths who stole mobile phones in Chaple Bazaar have been arrested by Kharsia Police under the leadership of trainee IPS Akash Shrishrimal. All three youths are residents of Sahebganj, Jharkhand, who used to steal mobile phones by pickpocketing in the crowd. Recently, 06 cases of mobile theft were reported in the village Chaple weekly market on which an FIR has been registered against unknown accused. Offense was committed under sections 189, 190, 191, 192, 193, 194/24 and section 379 IPC. Trainee IPS and station in-charge Kharsia Akash Shrimal activated the informer and tracked the stolen mobiles.

The accused have been arrested for the crime of theft and sent on judicial remand. The accused youths used to form a gang and steal mobile phones from the markets in the area. Trainee IPS and station in-charge Kharsia Akash Srishrimal, Assistant Sub Inspector Lakshmi Rathore, Hemant Kashyap, constable Bishop Singh, Pradeep Tiwari, Yogendra Sidar have played an important role in identifying and arresting the accused.
