3 Arrested For Fake Aadhaar Card Scheme To Lure Girls To Hotel In Gujarats Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: Fake Aadhaar cards were created to make minor girls believe they were majors. Some people tried to take the girls to a hotel. After getting this information, the police stopped them. Three people were arrested. (fake Aadhaar card scheme) This incident took place in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Some people from Vasna area got acquainted with three minor girls from the same area. They impressed them and took them to several places and sexually harassed them.

Meanwhile, the youths invited the minor girls to the hotel. They created fake Aadhaar cards with false age and false details to stay at the hotel, claiming to be adults. The three youths took the three girls and traveled to the hotel.

On the other hand, a person known to the girls informed the police about this. With this, the police stopped the youths and arrested them. The minor girls were rescued. The police identified the accused as Amir Ali Sheikh, Mohammed Siraj Salmani, and Altab Ali Ansari.

However, the police officer said that efforts are being made to arrest the fourth accused, Arvind Chauhan, who is absconding. He said that a case has been registered against the four accused under sections of the POCSO Act, as well as charges of forgery and cheating. He revealed that they are investigating whether there are anyone else involved in this scam.
