Let us tell you that Rahul Kaswan has been MP from Churu Lok Sabha seat for two consecutive terms on BJP ticket. BJP has fielded Devendra Jhajharia as its candidate while canceling the ticket of Rahul Kaswan. The reason behind cutting Rahul Kaswan’s ticket is believed to be his enmity with senior party leader Rajendra Rathod. He was also accused of not helping Rathod in the 2023 assembly elections. Due to which Rajendra Rathod had to face defeat in the elections. After this, senior BJP leaders including Rajendra Rathod had also complained about Rahul Kaswan to the central leadership.
This is believed to be the reason behind cutting his Lok Sabha ticket. It is noteworthy that even before the announcement of the dates of 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party released the first list of 195 candidates on Saturday. In which names of candidates have been announced for 15 out of 25 seats in Rajasthan. BJP has canceled the tickets of 5 sitting MPs of the state. These include the names of Rahul Kaswan, Devji Patel, Arjun Lal Meena, Kankamal Katara and Ranjita Koli.
