Mahasamund. The Singhoda police of Mahasamund have arrested 2 interstate smugglers along with 5 quintals of ganja worth Rs 1 crore 25 lakh. Out of the two smugglers caught, one is from Delhi and the other from UP. The accused were taking the hemp from Odisha to Raipur.
Actually, on the information of the informer, the police got success in this entire action. While checking suspicious vehicles on information, Singhoda police caught both the smugglers near village Rehti Khol on National Highway 53. Sudhir Kumar Yadav and Ramkumar Shahshankar are being told the names of both the smugglers caught under the straw in the Eicher truck. Along with this, it is also being told that he was hired for smuggling marijuana from Raipur. The police got this success in the joint action of Cyber Cell and Police Station Singhoda. Police has taken action against both the arrested smugglers under section 20(b) NDPS.
