Bilaspur. Two youths died in two separate road accidents in Bilaspur on Friday. The first incident is from Kota police station area, where a truck hit a youth crossing the road. The seriously injured youth died in the hospital. The second incident took place in Ratanpur area. Here, in the darkness of the night, a speeding car hit a youth and dragged him for 20 feet. The youth died on the spot in this accident. Two youths riding in the car were injured when the uncontrolled car overturned.
Nepal Patel (26), who lived in Ratkhandi of Kota area, was a farmer by profession. He had come to Kota on Friday for some work. During this time, his nephew Deepak Patel was also with him. Uncle-nephew were crossing the road on foot near Jai Stambh Chowk.
Meanwhile, the driver of a speeding truck going towards Bilaspur hit Nepal Patel. He was seriously injured in this accident. Nephew Deepak Patel took him to the hospital with the help of the people around. After taking him to the hospital, the doctors declared him dead. The police have sent the body for postmortem after preparing the Panchnama. The police have registered a case against the accused truck driver.
