2 bookies arrested in Telibandha, mobiles confiscated
Raipur. 2 bookies have been arrested in Telibandha. The team of Anti Crime and Cyber Unit received information that 02 persons are operating online betting through mobile phones in front of Gautam Daily Needs located in lane no. 03 under police station Telibandha. On which, under the direction of senior officers, a joint team of Anti Crime and Cyber Unit and police station Telibandha went to the said place and after investigation identified and arrested the persons matching the description given by the informer. During interrogation, the persons told their names to be Chanchal Das Jaisinghani and Gautam Ahuja, residents of Telibandha Raipur. On checking the mobile phones kept with them by the team members, both were found to be operating online betting in cricket matches and other sports by taking IDs in the websites named unclebet9.com and kingdombook9.com in their mobile phones.
On which the accused Chanchal Das Jaisinghani and Gautam Ahuja were arrested and 02 mobile phones used in running the betting were seized from their possession and a case number 170/2025 under section 7 and 111 BNS of CG Gambling Prohibition Act 2022 was registered against the accused in police station Telibandha and action was taken against the accused.

- Gautam Ahuja father Amarlal Ahuja age 21 years resident of lane no. 03 near Gautam Daily Needs Telibandha police station Telibandha Raipur.
