2 accused arrested for transporting liquor in Mandir Hasaud area

Raipur news. 2 accused have been arrested for illegally transporting alcohol in Thana Mandir Hasaud area. Police team arrested accused Rahul Verma father Virendra Verma age 21 years resident of village Math police station Kharora district Raipur near Mandir Hasaud gate under Thana Mandir Hasaud area while illegally transporting alcohol and seized 40 quarters of country liquor kept illegally from his possession and scooty number CG/04/PC/0314 used in transporting alcohol, total worth about Rs. 55,000/- and registered a case against the accused in Thana Mandir Hasaud under crime number 472/24 section 34(2) of Excise Act and took action.

Similarly, on 23.06.2024, under the guidance of senior officers and under the leadership of Police Station Incharge Mandir Hasaud, a team of Police Station Mandir Hasaud arrested accused Rahul Yadav, son of Ghantu Yadav, age 22 years, resident of Saddu Housing Board Colony, Block No. 20, House No. 15, Police Station Vidhan Sabha, Raipur, near J.P. Dhaba under Police Station Mandir Hasaud, while illegally transporting liquor and seized 40 quarters of country liquor illegally kept in his possession and the scooter used in transporting the liquor, number CG/04/PD/9946, total worth about Rs. 44,000/- and registered a case against the accused under Crime No. 473/24, Section 34(2) of the Excise Act at Police Station Mandir Hasaud and took action.
