Noida (IANS) | The health department’s concern has increased after Corona got 19 new infected in 24 hours. A year before this, so many patients were found in a single day. The health department has claimed to test 500 suspects daily. The department has been releasing the Corona report since two days. Earlier investigation data has not been released. The number of corona infected has increased since the last ten days. The number of patients was less on 26 and 27 March. The number of active patients increased to 57.
Active patients have tripled in two weeks. Of these patients, eight patients are being treated in the hospital, while 49 are being treated in home isolation. The District Surveillance Officer said that contract tracing of the patients is also being done. So that the infection can be prevented from growing. Corona has once again started gaining momentum. In view of the increasing cases, posters have been put up in hospitals that wearing masks is mandatory, but this rule seems to be being violated very often. CMO Sunil Kumar says that the number of patients suffering from cold and sore throat has also increased in the hospitals of the city. Everyday more than 200 patients with symptoms of corona are coming for treatment in the district hospital itself. These patients have symptoms of cold, fever, throat infection etc.
The health department has set up an isolation ward for the treatment of corona infected patients in the new district hospital located in Sector-39 as well as CHC located in Bhangel. Along with this, instructions have been given to hospitals to conduct genome sequencing to detect the variant of corona. Instructions have been sent to all the hospitals regarding this.
In view of the increasing number of patients, instructions have been given by the government to increase monitoring, testing and identify Covid clusters. At present, the daily testing of patients is being increased to 1000 from this week, at present about 500 suspects are being tested daily in government hospitals. The condition of all corona patients is fine, none is serious.
