Bihar. The NDRF team has rescued a 12-year-old boy trapped between the pillar and the wall of the Nasriganj-Daudnagar Son bridge near Jamalpur and Atimiganj in Rohtas district of Bihar for the last 25 hours. The child has died. He has been taken to Sasaram Sadar Hospital. Bikramganj SDM Upendra Pal has told that the NDRF team has rescued and taken out the child. Although the condition of the child is not good at the moment.
3 officers and 35 jawans of NDRF and SDRF carried out the rescue for 25 hours. The child’s name is Ranjan Kumar. He was last seen at Pilar’s Gap at 1 a.m. on Wednesday. His rescue operation was started from 4 pm. On Thursday morning he was given food with the help of bamboo. Oxygen was given through pipe. A three feet wide hole was made in the first pillar. Then the slab was broken and taken out around 5 pm.
Ranjan Kumar is a resident of Khiriav village. His father Shatrughan Prasad told that the son is mentally weak. He was missing for the last two days. He was constantly searching. It is being told that he had gone to catch pigeons. Got stuck in the meantime. On Wednesday afternoon, a woman saw a crying child trapped in the bridge. After this he informed the family. The crowd present on the spot first tried to take out the trapped child from their level, but when they could not get out, they informed the police administration. The child was rescued on Thursday evening.
