Raigarh. The first batch of devotees left this morning from Raigarh district to visit Ayodhya Dham under Shri Ram Lalla Darshan Scheme. Finance Minister O.P. Chaudhary reached Bilaspur railway station and hailed Lord Shri Ram and sent the group of devotees from Raigarh to Ayodhya Dham. He wished all the passengers a pleasant journey. The first batch of 112 devotees from Raigarh district left from the Collectorate this morning for Ayodhya Dham darshan. District Panchayat President Nirakar Patel, Collector Karthikeya Goyal and CEO District Panchayat Jitendra Yadav flagged off the bus of devotees. A total of 112 passengers from the district are joining the first batch. These include 84 devotees from rural areas and 28 from urban areas. This group of devotees reached Bilaspur by road. From there the special Aastha train left for further journey. The group of devotees will return on March 14. During the three-day journey, the pilgrims will also visit Kashi Vishwanath in Varanasi along with Ayodhya Dham. A team of 3 officers has also left with the group to assist the passengers. Which includes Additional CEO District Panchayat Mahesh Patel, CHO Kanhaiya Darbar, Assistant Grade-3 Municipal Corporation Anil Bajpayee.
The devotees included in the first group of the district to go to Ayodhya Dham were seen drenched in devotion and enthusiasm. The people of the district, who started the journey early in the morning with the praise of Lord Shri Ram, called it a moment of good fortune. Expressing his gratitude to Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, he said that due to this noble initiative of the government, we are getting the opportunity of free visit to Ayodhya Dham. Bhagatram Chauhan of Kirori Mal Nagar said that we are fortunate that today we are leaving for Ayodhya Dham for the darshan of Lord Shri Ram. Ever since the Ram temple was consecrated in Ayodhya, there was a desire to go there, today it is going to be fulfilled on the initiative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai. All facilities like food, drink and transportation have been arranged free of cost. Raising slogans of Jai-Jai Shri Ram, his wife Ram Prasad Pankra and Balmati Pankra, residents of Charbhantha of Gharghoda development block, said that today is a happy occasion for us that we are leaving for Ayodhya Dham for the darshan of Lord Shri Ram. We had never thought that we would ever be able to go there and have the darshan of Lord Shri Ram, but our dream is going to be fulfilled today. Devaki Singh Rajput of Panjari Plant Raigarh said that today is a very happy day that we all are leaving together for Ayodhya Dham for the darshan of Lord Shri Ram with the noble initiative of the government and we do not need to worry about anything.
