Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party is continuously attacking Delhi LG over the matter of cutting trees in Delhi’s Ridge area and this matter is going on in the court. Aam Aadmi Party is attacking Delhi LG by using every comment of the court as a weapon. Aam Aadmi Party leader Dilip Pandey, while sharing information with his MLAs Sanjeev Jha and Kuldeep Kumar on Saturday, said that Arvind Kejriwal government is continuously working to increase the green cover of Delhi. Delhi government is also achieving this goal.
According to Dilip Pandey, we are trying to make the national capital pollution free. But in the meantime, 1100 trees are cut illegally in Delhi’s Ridge area on the orders of BJP’s LG. When the matter of cutting 1100 trees reaches the Supreme Court, the officials start covering it up. But the court kept a sharp eye on this matter.
He told that in this case, the Supreme Court clearly said to the LG of BJP that “you can do anything but do not consider yourself a court.” This is a very serious comment. Dilip Pandey says that after some time you will see that the spokespersons of BJP will be shedding crocodile tears and cursing “AAP”. But when they will be asked what contribution did they make in the effort to clean the air of Delhi by cutting 1100 trees? Then they will remain silent. Delhi’s LG has the responsibility to protect the interests of the people of Delhi but he is playing with the lives and health of the people of Delhi.
Dilip Pandey has said that what happened is wrong, unfortunate and illegal. The people of Delhi are asking questions to BJP and their LG. Meanwhile, Delhi’s “AAP” government is fighting all the conspiracies of BJP and is doing a lot of work in public interest and will continue to do so in future. Sanjeev Jha disclosed in this matter and said that we talked to the officials and they told us that we explained to LG sahab but he did not listen and the trees were cut. Regarding this matter, the court said that we knew from day one that LG sahab had given his consent for cutting the trees but the officials tried to hide this fact.
