Mahasamund. Under the direction of Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh, continuous action is going on against illegal paddy storage in the district. In this episode, a large quantity of illegal paddy has been seized today in village Bihajar of Bagbahara tehsil. The officials had received information that a large quantity of illegal paddy is kept in Sahu grocery stores. Reaching the spot, the officials investigated and confiscated 110 sacks of illegally stored paddy. The action was taken under the Mandi Act. Tehsildar Mr. Jugal Kishore Patel, Food Inspector, Mandi Secretary were present in the action. Even before this, illegal paddy has been seized at many places in the tehsil area.
