Youth’s private part cut due to love affair, condition critical

On Saturday, an FIR has been lodged against 8 named people by Chandranand Mandal, the father of the victim youth, regarding the incident that took place on the evening of Monday, January 1, in Ward No. 6 Saini Chowk, located in Bainga Panchayat of Sikti block in the district. In the application given in Bardaha police station case number 2/24, the victim’s father has alleged that his son Pawan Kumar had gone from home to the east for defecation on Monday evening. Due to old enmity, Baldev Mandal, Mahendra Mandal, Ravindra Mandal, Sunil Mandal, Anil Mandal, Arvind Mandal, Vipin Mandal, Mithun Mandal are all residents of Saini Chowk. My son who had gone to defecate after making a gathering. Everyone arrived and forcibly picked up my son and took him to Basbandi behind the house of Chitralekha Devi’s husband Ravindra Mandal.

At the same place, with the intention of killing my son, he threw him on the ground and cut off his penis with a sharp weapon. Due to which my son got badly injured and started bleeding profusely and the entire cloth got soaked in blood. When we reached, we saw that many people who had gathered started running away from there. While my son was struggling. All the family members reached there and picked him up and took him to Sadar Hospital, Araria. After first aid by the doctor, seeing the seriousness of the situation, he was sent to Purnia and he was treated in Purnia. In this case, Bardaha police station incharge Vikas Kumar Maurya said that the victim’s father has filed an application regarding the incident, on which immediate action has been taken and an FIR has been registered. He said that the accused will not be spared. The arrest of the accused will be ensured soon.
