Youth dies after being hit by train

Jind. A person died after being hit by a train near Safidon railway station in Jind, Haryana on Wednesday night. The deceased has been identified as 30-year-old Pawan, a resident of village Balu in Kaithal district. According to the family members, Pawan was mentally disturbed and was missing from home for the last 9 months. It is being told that the accident happened when he was eating food sitting on the railway line.

According to the information, a young man suddenly came under the train on the track near Safidon railway station on Wednesday night. The young man was eating food sitting in the middle of the railway track. Suddenly a train came and he died after coming under it. When the police reached the spot, roti and vegetables were scattered on the railway line. The body was kept in the civil hospital at night. In the morning, the body was identified as Pawan, a resident of village Balu. Pawan’s father Dalbir told that he was missing from home for the last nine months and was mentally disturbed since childhood. He tried a lot to find Pawan, but he was not found anywhere. Someone informed him about this incident in the morning.
