Youth commits suicide by jumping from train, 3 including girlfriend arrested

Bhilai. Cantonment Police has arrested 3 people including his girlfriend in the case of a youth committing suicide by jumping from a train in Bhilai. This includes two girls and a young man. The young man took this step on Tuesday after a dispute with his girlfriend. Before committing suicide, the young man had made a video and apologized to his parents. In the video he had talked about committing suicide of his own free will.

Actually, Gaurav Roy (22 years), resident of Azad Chowk Camp-1, left home at 6.30 am on Tuesday and reached the railway track in front of Teendarshan Temple. From there he made a video, in which he attributed the death to a dispute with his girlfriend. Police said that Gaurav Rai has a love affair with a girl living in Sector-1 for four years. Gaurav had come to know that his girlfriend also talks to another young man, due to which there was a dispute between them. The girl’s family members came to know about this dispute.

After this his girlfriend stopped talking to him. He started feeling stressed regarding this matter. After this, he reached the railway track on Tuesday morning. There he made a video and sent it to his friends and family. After this he committed suicide by jumping in front of the train. Let us tell you that the deceased Gaurav Roy was a first year MBA student of Shri Shankaracharya College. His girlfriend is also doing MBA with him. The deceased’s father Suresh Kumar Rai was a retired army employee.
