Youth arrested with one and a half kg of cannabis

Raipur. Raipur’s Dharsinwa police station has arrested a ganja smuggler. About one and a half kg of ganja has been recovered from the accused. According to the information, on April 24, information was received that near the stadium located under Dharsinwa police station area, a person has kept ganja with him and is looking for a customer to sell it. Under the direction of senior officers and under the leadership of station in-charge Dharsinwa, the team of police station Dharsinwa went to the said place and caught the person of the character told by the informer. During interrogation, the person gave his name as Moh. Asgar resident told Dharsinwa Raipur. On searching the polythene kept with him by the team members, it was found to have ganja kept in the polythene. On which the accused Mohd. After arresting Asgar, a total of 01 kg 550 grams of ganja worth about Rs 15,000/- was seized from his possession and action was taken against the accused by registering crime number 171/23 Section 20B of Narcotics Act in police station Dharsinwa.
