Youth arrested with 15 liters of Mahua liquor

Raigarh. Kapitalpathra Police has taken raid action on the information of illegal liquor sale in Chharratangar village. Police station in-charge Kapitalpathra Inspector Krishnakant Singh got information from the informer that Tulsiram Rathiya of village Chharratangar Junadih was selling Mahua liquor illegally at his house. On receiving the information, the police station in-charge, who had left for Tatkar Minor Act action, was directed to take action.

The team of Kapitalpathra raided village Chharratangar and summoned suspect Tulsi Rathiya, who admitted to selling liquor, from whose possession 15 liters of Mahua liquor worth ₹ 1500 kept in a plastic box was duly seized. In Kapitalpathra police station, action has been taken against the accused Tulsiram Rathia, father Ram Singh Rathia, age 22 years, resident of Chharratangar Junadih under Section 34(2), 59(A) of the Excise Act. TI Krishnakant Singh, Assistant Sub Inspector Chandan Singh Netam, Head Constable Amrit Tirkey, Lazarus Minz and Constable Umashankar Bhagat were involved in the liquor raid proceedings.
