ED, Kolkata has arrested 4 people named Arun Sahu, Alok Sahu, Chetan Prakash and Joseph Stalin under the provisions of Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), 2002 in connection with the Fivein app based online betting/gaming fraud. All the four accused were produced before the Hon’ble Special Court (PMLA). The Hon’ble Court has remanded all the four accused to ED custody for a period of 14 days. ED, Ahmedabad has arrested Shailesh Babulal Bhatt on 13.08.2024 under the provisions of PMLA, 2002 in an ongoing money laundering investigation in connection with extortion of 2091 Bitcoins, 11000 Litecoins and Rs 14.50 crore in cash, the total value of which is currently around Rs 1232.50 crore.
