Young man used to upload obscene videos related to children, arrested

Raigarh. In the era of social media, cases of child pornography are continuously coming to light. Recently, while investigating the cyber tip line case received by Lailunga police station from Police Headquarters, Naya Raipur, Inspector Mohan Bhardwaj, the station in-charge Lailunga, found a youth of the police station area, Pintu Chauhan, resident of Dhorrobija, uploading undesirable content related to children on social media through mobile. But after registering the crime under Section 67 (B) of the IT Act and Section 14 of the POCSO Act, the accused was arrested today and presented in the court for judicial remand.It is known that for uploading or viewing obscene photos/videos related to children on the internet, the NCRB branch sends a tipline to the state police headquarters for action against the concerned person.

In the same sequence, during the investigation of the cyber tipline received by Lailunga police station from the cyber cell at district headquarters Raigarh, the station incharge Lailunga, after getting information from the service providing company about the mobile number used in the incident, this morning the mobile holder suspect Pintu Chauhan was detained from his home village Dharbobija. He was brought to the police station, during interrogation the accused Pintu Chauhan admitted to uploading an obscene video related to children on social media in the month of September last year. The accused Pintu Chauhan (age 24 years), resident of village Dhorrobija, police station Lailunga, district Raigarh, has been arrested under serious sections of IT Act and POCSO Act and presented in the Sessions Court Gharghoda for judicial remand.
