Young man drowned in pond, died while bathing

Korba. A young man died due to drowning in a pond while taking bath in the district. As soon as information about the incident was received, local people and police team reached the spot. The body of the youth was taken out of the water. The police conducted Marga Panchnama and the body was sent for postmortem. The matter is of Risda Bhadrapara of Balko police station area.

The name of the deceased was Mahendra Pal Singh (35), who had gone towards the pond to take bath. While bathing, he went into the depths of the water and died within no time. After the information, a crowd of people gathered and with the help of the people nearby, a search was started for him. The body was recovered after hours of hard work.

Deceased’s mother Nanaki Bai told that Mahendra woke up late on Saturday morning. After this he started preparing to take bath. Saying that he wanted to wash clothes, he first went to a nearby shop. After that he did not get any information as to what happened. Neighbors came and told him that his son Mahendra had drowned in the pond.
