A CRPF jawan from Pathanpura village under Deogarh police station area died after being shot in Anantnag, Jammu and Kashmir. It is being told that the jawan shot himself with his service rifle while on duty. On Friday, the jawan was cremated with military honors at his native village Pathanpura. According to the information received, CRPF jawan Mohan Singh Sikarwar, resident of Pathanpura village, age 51, was posted at Anantnag railway station. It has been told that on May 3, Mohan Singh was shot in the head while on duty. Mohan Singh was in his duty cabin. His rifle was also found along with his body, from which it has been speculated that he committed suicide by shooting. On Friday, CRPF personnel took his body to Morena Pathanpura, where he was cremated with military honours. During this, hundreds of villagers participated in his last journey.
