Young man cuts aunt with weapon, accused arrested

Rohtak. The nephew attacked his aunt with a sharp weapon in Surya Nagar Colony, Ladhot Road, Rohtak, Haryana. She had gone to give him food. The accused was drunk at that time. Other family members took the woman to the hospital in a bloody condition. More than 200 stitches had to be placed on his wounds. Police have registered the case and arrested the accused. He will be taken on remand for one day and interrogated. According to the information, Sukhbir Singh, living in Surya Nagar Colony, told in his complaint to the police that they are six brothers.

His younger brother Satbir and his wife have died. Satbir’s son Manjeet is a drug addict. Manjeet’s wife died due to illness on 13 December. After this, both the children live in their aunt’s house. He said that Manjeet lives alone in the house. Whereas, only his younger brother’s wife Sheela Devi (Manjeet’s aunt) gives him food. On January 5, Sheela Devi had gone to give food to Manjeet. Meanwhile, Manjeet attacked Sheela with a daa (sharp weapon). Due to this, Sheela suffered injuries on her face, head and body.

Sukhbir Singh told that when he heard Sheela’s screams, he went to rescue her. Then Manjeet was attacking Sheela with a sharp weapon. Who later left and ran away from there. Meanwhile, injured Sheela was referred to Rohtak PGI for treatment. He told that Sheela had received more than 200 stitches. Who is not in a position to speak right now. Police registered the case and started investigation. The investigating officer of the case, PSI Krishna, took action and arrested the accused Manjeet, resident of Surya Nagar Ladhot Road. The accused was produced in the court and taken on one-day police remand. Will be interrogated during remand.
