Young man crossing National Highway crushed by trailer, dies

Bilaspur. A speeding trailer took the life of a young man in Ratanpur of the district on Wednesday night. The young man was crossing the National Highway. Then the trailer hit him, due to which the young man died on the spot. The youth had left from Pankhajur in Kanker district with a tractor to go to Ambikapur. Then this accident happened. Police is investigating this matter.

On Wednesday night, police received information that an accident had taken place near Babi Dhaba located in Mohtarai on Bilaspur-Ratanpur National Highway, in which a young man was seriously injured. As soon as the news was received, highway patrolling and Koni police station reached the spot. During interrogation, it was revealed that Suraj Khan (32), resident of Pakhanjur of Kanker, was going to Ambikapur to earn food. His friends were moving ahead with a tractor and he was riding a bike.
