Young man beaten with sticks, police took out a procession

Raipur. Applicant Suraj Das Manikpuri lodged a report in Police Station Ganj that on January 14, his younger brother and others had gone to Container Ground located in Mova to play a cricket match. On one side the applicant and his friends and on the other side Ejaz Khan alias Ijju, Efaz Khan, Sandeep alias Ove, Raja Bhaskar and others were playing a cricket match. There was a dispute between the two sides during the match. On 16.01.2024, the applicant and his younger brother, elder brother Deepak Das and friend Aman Sahu were sleeping inside the applicant’s house. Meanwhile, at around 10.30 pm, Ejaz Khan alias Ijju, Efaaz Khan, Sandeep alias Ove, Raja Bhaskar and others came to the applicant’s house. Entering the house, armed with an iron rod, stick, ax and a sharp object, with the intention of killing them, they attacked them with an iron rod, stick and a sharp object, caused serious injury and ran away. On which crime number 29/24 section 307, 452, 294, 506, 323, 34 IPC has been registered against the accused in Police Station Ganj. And offense under 25 Arms Act was registered.

Under the direction of senior officers, the joint team of Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit and Police Station Ganj conducted detailed interrogation of the applicant, his brother and other people, along with inspecting the incident site and locating the accused, searched all possible places of hiding of the accused. During continuous raid, the accused involved in the case, Ejaz Khan alias Ijju, Sandeep alias Ove, Raja Bhaskar and Dhruv Krishnadas, and interrogated them strictly, were told that they carried out the incident due to old enmity. On which the accused were arrested and the knife, rod and ax used in the incident were seized from their possession and action was taken against the accused. Accused Ejaz Khan alias Ijju Purva has also been imprisoned in other cases including attempt to murder.
Every possible effort is being made to trace and arrest other absconding accused involved in the case.

4. Dhruva Krishnadas, father Abhilash Das, age 23 years, Ekta Nagar Gudhiyari police station Gudhiyari Raipur.
