Xi’s farewell message to Putin- ‘Change is coming that hasn’t happened in 100 years and we are driving it’

London (IANS) | Chinese President Xi Jinping smilingly told Vladimir Putin ‘change is coming’ in a farewell message as he departs from Moscow after talks with the Russian President. Daily Mail reported that Xi told Putin – change is coming which has not happened in 100 years. And we are driving this change together. The words will certainly set off alarm bells in the West.

He said- Please take care, dear friend, the Russian President wished Xi a safe journey. Russia’s RIA Novosti news agency said that after the two leaders hailed the new era, Xi’s plane left Moscow’s Vnukovo airport on Wednesday. He was given a guard of honor with the Russian and Chinese national anthems.

In February 2022, the pair announced that they had established a friendship without limits and Putin invited Xi to visit the Russian capital. They have since publicly spoken of strengthening their special relationship, with both Moscow and Beijing rejecting US efforts to create a unipolar world controlled by Washington.

Xi finally met Putin at the Kremlin yesterday, with the two leaders appearing keen to boost their positive ties. They signed a series of memorandums and agreements designed to boost bilateral cooperation on a range of issues, the Daily Mail reported.
