Women will now be able to register their complaints sitting at home

Keeping in view the safety and assistance of women, under the direction of Superintendent of Police, Chamoli, Pramendra Dobal, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Operation Natasha Singh, on March 29, at the Police Office, Gopeshwar, to the officers/employees appointed in the Women’s Helpdesk of all the police stations of the district, for the implementation of the Gaurashakti module. Information was given about increasing further and providing immediate help to the victimized woman, as well as the officers/employees appointed in the women’s helpdesk in each police station were provided with a smartphone sim each, on which the women could call on the given phone number. You will be able to register complaints about crimes that happen to you without coming to the police station.
Madam ordered the officers/employees appointed in the women’s helpdesk at all the police stations that the said mobile phone will be used for redressal of complaints and complaints related to women on the Gaura Shakti module under the Uttarakhand Police App, as well as complaints related to women. Immediate action will be taken by the concerned officer/employee to help the victim woman.
