Woman’s skeleton found near reservoir, created panic

Dabhra: The skeleton of a woman has been found near village Kataud Ghatoi reservoir. Body parts have become separate. Parts of the head and torso have also been found separately. The discovery of skeletons near the reservoir created a sensation in the village and surrounding areas. On information, police reached the spot and started investigation. There is a suspicion that the skeleton could be that of a woman from the same village who had been missing since the day of Holi. The matter is of Dabhra police station.
A woman was murdered and her body was buried in a pit near Ghatoi reservoir in Kataud village of the police station area. Some of his body parts were visible outside. When the villagers saw this on Wednesday, they informed the police. On receiving the information, Dabhra police station in-charge and trainee DSP Chandrahas Sinha reached the spot along with the staff. Forensic and dog squad teams were called on the spot. The skeleton of the woman was taken out from the pit. In which the head and torso were separated. The woman’s clothes were also found in burnt condition on the spot.

There is discussion in the village that the skeleton of the woman could be that of a woman from the same village because she had gone missing since the day of Holi in the month of March. The woman’s relatives had also informed the police station about her missing. At present the police is investigating all aspects of the case. There is a sensation in the village and surrounding areas regarding this matter. Some suspects of the village are being detained and interrogated by the police. Police station in-charge Chandrahas Sinha says that the police is investigating at all points. The accused will be arrested soon.
