Woman’s dead body found in septic tank, no clothes on her body

Fatehpur. There was a sensation when a naked body of a woman was found in the tank of an under-construction house on Saturday morning. Based on information about the incident, the police and forensic team collected evidence. The police is busy identifying the deceased.

A house is being constructed near the tenth mile toll plaza in Lalauli police station area. A tank for toilet has been built next to it. When the workers reached there for work on Saturday morning, they saw that a naked body of a woman was floating in the water filled in the tank. As soon as the news spread, a crowd of people gathered. Upon receiving the information, the police took out the body, took possession of it and sent it for post-mortem.

Police station incharge Tarakeshwar Rai said that the forensic team collected evidence from the spot. The age of the deceased would be around 30 years. Along with the district, information has also been given to the neighboring district Banda police for identification of the dead body. The incident will be identified and disclosed soon. Local people are suspecting that the woman may be murdered after rape.

The girl was beaten to death with a brick in a building under construction near Bastapur on the Banda-Bahraich road. A semi-nude body was found lying in the septic tank of the building. Police have recovered the saree from the ground floor and the petticoat from the first floor. There is a possibility of murder after rape. The girl has not been identified yet. Police is investigating with the forensic team.

The building of Rakesh Chandra Gupta, a resident of Radhanagar in the city, is under construction on the highway, some distance away from Bastapur village of Lalauli police station. Currently the work is closed. Two days ago, when some children reached near the building while playing, they saw the dead body of the woman lying in the tank but were unable to muster the courage to inform the police. On information on Saturday afternoon, Bahua and Shah Chowki police reached the spot.

Blood splatters were seen on the wall of the first floor. A brick stained with blood was also found nearby. Samosas and chutney were scattered here. A petticoat was lying nearby, while the police recovered a brown colored saree on the ground floor. According to the police, the age of the girl is 22 to 23 years, she is married. The saree and petticoat recovered from the spot are likely to belong to him. Efforts are being made for identification. Investigation is going on at all points.
