Woman smuggling ganja in Purani Basti arrested

Raipur. On the guidance of Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh and under the guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police West Daulat Ram Porte, Additional Superintendent of Police City Lakhan Lal Patle and supervision of City Superintendent of Police Rajesh Dewangan, under the campaign to effectively curb and eliminate the drug trade, Police Station Purani Basti. Due to the work of the police, success was achieved in arresting the accused who was illegally possessing drugs like ganja. The details are as follows that information was received from the informer that a woman named Hina Parveen, a resident of Bandhwa Para, was selling illegal drugs in a white bag outside her house.

On receiving the information, immediately formed a team from the police station and reached the spot after informing the senior officers. According to the informant, a woman named Hina was surrounded and caught during the search. In the possession of the accused, a total of 02 kg of narcotic substance like ganja was found in a white colored membrane inside a bag. 500 grams worth Rs 30,000 were found which was seized and crime number 155/2024 Section 20 (B), 27 (A) NDPS Act was registered against the accused in Police Station Purani Basti and the accused was arrested and sent to judicial custody. .

Name of the accused – Hina Parveen alias Chhoti, father late Abdul Hameed, age 23 years, resident of GS Super Bazaar, Bandhwa Para police station Purani Basti, District Raipur Chhattisgarh.
