Woman reached hospital with throat pain, dies

Korba. After the death of a female patient in New Korba Hospital, the family members created a ruckus. 40-year-old Fatuna Begum, a resident of Kashi Nagar, was admitted to the hospital yesterday after complaining of throat pain. The family members say that the patient’s condition was normal at the time of admission and she came to the hospital on foot.

When the patient’s condition deteriorated, she was shifted to the ICU, where she died after some time. The family members allege that the patient died due to the negligence of the doctors and they are demanding a proper investigation into the matter.

As soon as the information about the ruckus was received, the Civil Line Police Station reached the spot. Under the leadership of police station in-charge Pramod Dansena, the police tried to control the situation and tried to convince the family members. Police said that further action is being taken in the matter.
