Woman peon murdered, lover played bloody game in rented house

Balod. The middle-aged lover killed the woman after a dispute between the couple living in Live Inn for four years. Police have arrested the accused. According to the police, Gangadhar Tandon aged 50 years and a 40-year-old woman were living in a rented house in Pande Para of the city under Balod City Kotwali area for the last 4 years. Last night around 2.30 am, the landlord informed the police over phone that there was a quarrel between a man and a woman living on rent.

When the police reached the spot, a 40-year-old Seema Dhangul was lying seriously injured due to knife attack and there were eatables nearby. The police immediately took the woman to the hospital. It is being told that she was working as a peon in the agricultural produce market in a mandi. The compassionate appointment was made after the death of her husband. He also has a daughter. And Gangadhar Tandon, who lives with him, is also married. After his transfer, he is posted as Line Inspector in Agricultural Produce Market in Kawardha and his family lives in Kawardha. The accused Ganga Das has been arrested by the police.
