Woman leaves home and goes with lover, accuses husband of harassment
Purnia: The mother of three children, a resident of Sipahi Tola of Madhubani police station area of Purnia city of Bihar, had left home with an employee of a finance company on Thursday evening. The woman reached the women’s police station 24 hours after the incident and narrated her ordeal to the police station head, making various allegations against her husband.
The woman, who left home and went with her lover, told the police that her husband always keeps harassing her. He is not able to meet even the household expenses. Because of this she left home.
At the same time, when the accused husband reached the women’s police station, he said that his wife was having an affair with an employee of a finance company for the last three years. When he came to know about this a week ago, he kept a close watch on his wife. He said that his wife used to talk to the finance person for hours on her mobile phone. After talking, she would also delete the call numbers and messages received in the mobile. At around 4 pm on Thursday, she called her lover, a finance worker, near her house and started going with him. When she tried to stop him, he locked the door of the house from outside and went away on a bike with her lover.
He said that while running away from home, his wife also took Rs 70,000 in cash and jewelery worth Rs 50,000 with her. Complained about this to the manager of the finance company located in Sharda Nagar. Manager Chandan Kumar removed the company employee from his job. The victim and the accused husband told that they were married in the year 2005. During this period, he also had three children, of which the elder daughter is 13 years old and two sons, one is eight years old and the other is four years old. He told that he works as a daily newspaper hawker.
Regarding the matter, Lady Police Station Head Lalita Kumari said that a reconciliation has been done regarding the dispute between husband and wife. The wife clearly refused to leave the house with any young man. Giving instructions to the husband and wife, bond papers were made, signatures were taken and both were sent home.
