Woman kills husband with lover, buries dead body in toilet pit

Muzaffarnagar (IANS) | A 25-year-old woman along with her lover strangled her husband to death and buried his body in a seven-feet deep toilet pit in Muzaffarnagar district. The body of the deceased, identified as Sagar Ahmed (30), was found in Mandla village under Purkaji police station on Thursday evening, almost 10 days after the murder.

According to the police, the accused woman named Ashiya had filed a missing complaint on June 7 about her husband.

During investigation, it came to light that Ashiya was having an affair with Sagar’s step brother Suhail Ahmed (28), who lives in the same area.

Purkaji police station SHO Dnyaneshwar Kumar said, “During interrogation, Ashiya confessed that she along with Suhail strangulated her husband to death and buried him in the toilet pit.” Both have been arrested.

SP (City), Satyanarayana Prajapati said, Magistrate was called to the spot. Excavation was done and the body was recovered and sent for postmortem.
