Woman gets hit on chest while reversing car, dies painfully
Rewari. A woman died tragically in a road accident in Rewari district of Haryana. The woman was returning home after worshiping in the temple. Then on the way, the driver crushed the woman while backing the car. Both the rear tires of the car hit the woman’s chest. The villagers immediately stopped the car and then lifted the car with their hands and took out the body stuck below. Kosli police station has registered a case against the driver. The body was handed over to the relatives after post-mortem.
According to the police, Pooja (31), a resident of Lilodh village of Kosli town in Rewari district, had gone to the Shiva temple of the village to offer prayers as usual in the morning. Many people were already worshiping in the temple. Meanwhile, while returning home from the temple, a car was parked on the roadside, some distance ahead of the temple. When Pooja started going home, a car was backing up while crossing the road. That car hit Pooja hard from behind. Many people were present at the spot at the time of the accident. After the collision, the villagers raised an alarm, but the accused driver did not hear it and ran the car over Pooja who was buried under it.
Both the rear tires of the car passed over the woman’s chest. Not only this, both his legs came under the front tyre. By the time the driver regained consciousness the woman was badly injured. Instead of taking any risk, the villagers present on the spot stopped the car and then lifted the car with their hands and took the woman out from underneath and immediately admitted her to the hospital, where the doctors declared her brought dead. On Saturday afternoon, Kosli police station registered a case against the accused car driver, Idrajit, resident of village Zahidpur, on the complaint of Pooja’s nephew Naveen. Naveen told that his aunt has a boy and a girl. Both are below 10 years of age. After the painful death, there was mourning in the entire family.
