Woman Dupes Private Employee of Rs. 6.3 Lakhs in Hyderabad Matrimony Fraud

A woman who came forward to get married after seeing a profile on a matrimony website.. She duped a private employee from the city of Rs. 6.3 lakhs by telling him that she was doing stock trading and that it would give good profits, and that you should invest for our future. The victim, who lives in Old Alwal, works as an accountant in a private company. A young woman named Nandita Reddy contacted the victim saying that she saw your profile on Shaadi.com.
The two exchanged WhatsApp numbers and chatted for 3 months. She introduced herself as being from Vijayawada, currently working in the UK for a trading company called QuadcodeFX. She also spoke to the victim’s family members over video calls. She advised them to become financially strong from now on to avoid financial difficulties after marriage. She said that she was an expert in stock trading and suggested that they download her company’s QuadcodeFX app from the Google Play Store.
The victim, convinced that he was getting married and that she would tell him what was best for them, downloaded the app and initially invested Rs. 50,000. Profits appeared on the screen along with the original amount. Believing that it was real, he invested Rs. 6.35 lakhs in stages. Profits of Rs. 20 lakhs appeared on the screen along with the original amount, and when he tried to withdraw them, he was told that he would be able to withdraw them only if he paid 30 percent tax. When he asked to transfer the remaining amount to his account after deducting tax, he switched off his cellphone, saying that he could not do so. Realizing that this was all a scam, the victim filed a complaint with the Malkajgiri Cybercrime Police
