Woman dies after being hit by crane

Rajnandgaon. A woman died after being hit by a crane at Thelkadih Chowk in Khairagarh district on Thursday afternoon. The injured woman was taken to Khairagarh Hospital, where she died during treatment. According to the information received, 74-year-old Jankibai, a resident of Singarpur, had left home on March 14 in the afternoon to go to the bank. As she was moving towards Thelkadih intersection on the roadside to go to the market after taking money from the bank. At the same time a crane caught hold of him. Due to a strong collision from behind, the woman’s lower back was crushed. The injured woman was taken to Khairagarh Hospital, where doctors declared her dead. Khairagarh police is investigating the matter.
