Woman bitten by cobra snake, died in hospital

Korba. A cobra snake bitten a woman who went to the forest to collect Mahua. To take revenge, the woman beat him to death with a stick. The relatives took the woman to the hospital where she did not survive. The relatives returned and killed the cobra snake which was taking its last breath.

According to the information, Paishi Bai of Dhandhani village of Urga police station had gone to the nearby forest to pick Mahua. There he was bitten by a poisonous cobra snake. The woman screamed when the nearby villagers rushed to help her. Meanwhile, the woman beat the cobra half-dead with a stick. Here the woman was taken to the Medical College Hospital Korba. He died during treatment there. Here some members of the family went back to the same place where the snake had bitten. They beat the half-dead snake to death. Police handed over the dead body to the relatives after the post-mortem. The district administration is preparing a case for compensation for the family members, under which they will get Rs 4 lakh.
