The wife had involved three more people in this.

In fact, last night the police had an encounter with the people involved in this robbery incident that took place in broad daylight on 24 August. After the encounter, two miscreants have been arrested. They have been shot in the leg. At the same time, one miscreant managed to escape. Sevayat Anant Goswami’s wife has also been arrested in the case.

One of the arrested criminals is from Noida while the other is from Ghaziabad. Due to a dispute with husband Anant Goswami, the wife left Mathura and lived in Noida. It was here that she met Aviral and Puneet. To teach her husband a lesson, the wife planned a robbery with Aviral and Puneet, later a person named Ajit also joined in it. The three entered Anant’s house in his absence and looted and fled. This robbery was carried out by Anant’s wife herself.

Vrindavan Kotwali Police and SOG team arrested Aviral alias Chhotu and Puneet in an injured condition during an encounter last night. At the same time, the wife of Sevayat has also been arrested. Police have recovered the looted safe, silver glass, 2 pistols, 5 cartridges and the Activa used in the robbery from the accused.

Ajit Singh (resident of Unnao), the criminal who helped Aviral and Puneet in the crime, is absconding. CO Sadar Akash Singh said that he is being searched for. He will be caught soon.

According to the officer, the robbery incident that took place on August 24 in Vrindavan Kotwali area has been solved. Two criminals have been arrested during the encounter. Sevayat’s wife has also been arrested. The looted safe and other items have been recovered from her possession. The wife, along with her accomplices, had carried out the robbery in her husband’s house.
