Wife tried to commit suicide after man’s death due to marital discord

Bhubaneswar: In a tragic incident, a man committed suicide and his wife attempted suicide due to marital discord in Odisha’s capital Bhubaneswar.

According to reports, the incident took place in Dumduma under Khandagiri police station limits where a fight broke out between a man and his wife and it turned so bad that the husband committed suicide.

According to the report, later the wife also tried to kill herself. Local people immediately informed the police and Khandagiri police reached the spot.

Investigation was started in this regard. Police rescued the woman and admitted her to AIIMS Hospital Bhubaneswar. Police said in the initial investigation that the entire incident revolved around marital discord.
