Wife got SECL worker husband murdered, arrested with betel nut killer
Korba. On the anniversary of the marriage, the wife sold her jewelry and got the husband killed by the betel nut killer. On the night of May 24, the police have arrested Aropia’s wife and betel nut killer, while solving the case of murder of SECL worker entering the house late night in Deepka police station area.
Late night of May 24, 36-year-old SECL worker Jagjivan Ratre, living in Urja Nagar Deepika Colony, was murdered by unknown assailants after entering his house late at night. The brother-in-law of the deceased, Shivakant, lodged an FIR at Deepka police station and told that on the night of May 24, at 2:27 minutes, his sister called from mobile and told that someone had entered your brother-in-law’s house and killed him. On whose information he and his mother reached home. Then saw that his brother-in-law was lying in a bloody condition near the door of the starting room and had died. SP Uday Kiran formed a team under the leadership of Additional SP Korba Abhishek Verma, CSP Robinson Gudiya, Trainee IPS Rohit Shah, Deepka police station in-charge Avinash Singh and Cyber Cell in-charge Sanat Sonwani to investigate the matter.
When the police team interrogated Dhaneshwari Ratre, the wife of the deceased, she was repeatedly changing her statement. Due to which the police strictly interrogated her, in which she broke down and confessed to getting murdered. Dhaneshwari told that she was married on May 24, 2013 to Jagjivan Ratre, who was posted as Category One in SECL. After marriage, Janjeevan always used to beat and insult him after getting drunk. Being fed up with this, she contacted her acquaintance named Tushar Soni for the murder of her husband and lured him with money for the murder. When he was ready, in March 2023, by selling his jewelry, Tushar Soni alias Gopi resident Krishna Nagar was given 50 thousand rupees. But Tushar went to jail in some other case. After being released from jail, Dhaneshwari reached on his Avenger motorcycle at 12 o’clock in the night of May 24 and also brought Tangiya along with him.
Jagjivan knocked on the door of Ratre’s quarter number MQ/07 Urjanagar Deepka and told Jagjivan that he has to tell something about your wife. When Jagjivan opened the door, he asked for cold water from him and Jagjivan attacked him with a ton while bringing water in a bottle at night. During this Dhaneshwari was also watching him. After the murder, Dhaneshwari broke her mobile and gave it to him to throw away and gave the remaining amount, a gold necklace and Rs.6,000 in cash, to Tushar Soni. The police seized the leg used in the murder, the Avenger motorcycle, the clothes and shoes worn at the time of the incident, arrested Aropia, 32-year-old Dhaneshwari Sidar and 21-year-old Tushar Soni, and presented them in the honorable court for judicial remand.
