When is Nirjala Ekadashi?
Nirjala Ekadashi Vrat will be observed in the year 2023 on 31st May, Wednesday. Ekadashi Tithi starts at 01.07 pm on Tuesday, May 30 and ends at 01.45 pm on Wednesday, May 31.

Benefits of observing Nirjala Ekadashi fast-
In Padmapurana, it has been said that by observing Nirjala Ekadashi fast one’s desire can be fulfilled. Observing the fast of this Ekadashi methodically gives the result of the fast of all Ekadashis.
Method of observing Nirjala Ekadashi fast-
The meaning of Nirjala is fasting without food and water.
On this day, what to eat food, taking water is also prohibited.
That is, this fast is waterless and foodless.
It is also mentioned in the scriptures that the water that is taken in Aachaman for Sandhyopasana is allowed to be taken.
In this fast, from the sunrise of Ekadashi date till the next day sunrise of Dwadashi date, there is no water and food eclipse.
After taking bath in the morning, first of all, worship Lord Vishnu with mantra and rituals.
On this day, cover a white cloth on a water-filled urn and donate sugar and dakshina on it to a Brahmin.
After this, after doing charity, charity etc., complete the rituals of this fast and pass it on the second day.
