World’s top messaging app WhatsApp will soon introduce a subscription plan. This is an optional plan only. Its name is ‘WhatsApp Plus’. From now on, if you want to use some of the latest and interesting features in WhatsApp, you will have to take this subscription plan. However, the features like calls, messages, and video calling available on WhatsApp till now can be used for free.

Currently, the features of ‘WhatsApp Plus’ are being developed by parent company Meta. It is currently in the developing stage for Android and iOS users. Company sources say that the new ‘WhatsApp Plus’ will have many customized and improved features. There will be more innovations in easy chat management, more flexibility, personalization, and app looks and functions. According to tech experts, ‘WhatsApp Plus’ will focus on visual customization and interface controls. The app theme can be changed. Different colors can be added. Many new icons are coming. The company is developing about 14 icon styles. The chat pinning limit will also increase. Currently, only three chats can be pinned. But, if you take a subscription plan, you can pin 20 chats.

You can set unique ringtones for WhatsApp messages and calls. Usually, notifications from other apps and WhatsApp notifications have the same ringtone. But, with new features, you can set different ringtones for WhatsApp as well as for different accounts. Many such new features will be coming in ‘WhatsApp Plus’. However, the existing messages, video, voice calls, sending photos, videos, and security features can be used for free.
